So many of you probably recognize Kendyll, she has frequented both the Autumn Branscome Photography Facebook page and also this blog. She has been a little model for me since I started my photography career. Seriously, she is the first person I ever took out on a shoot. Ready for a trip down memory lane? Here’s a couple of shots from my very first shoot with Kendyll! This was just a couple weeks after I got my first DSLR.
Wow! As you can see, Kendyll and I have both done a lot of growing over the years. She’s grown up and I’ve grown as a photographer.
I’ve photographed Kendyll a lot (as in usually every few months) over the years. She was my go-to person when I wanted to try out a new technique or check out a new location. Kendyll is such a gorgeous girl and as you can see the camera just loves her. Unfortunately Kendyll’s family moved up to Parkersburg a few months ago and I miss them terribly! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve wished Kendyll was around to go try out a new location with me.
Kendyll’s mom contacted me a few months ago and asked me if I’d be willing to do Kendyll’s senior pictures! My first thought was absolutely! My second thought was “Wait, what? Kendyll is a SENIOR this year??” And that she is. Kendyll is driving, getting ready to graduate high school and making plans for college.
Congrats Kendyll! You are such a beautiful soul and I am so stinkin’ proud of you and all that you’ve accomplished. I’ve always claimed you as my little sister and that’ll never change even if you are all moved away and grown up on me! Love you Kendy!
Enough of that sappy stuff, who wants to see some rockin’ senior pics? Kendyll knows how to work the camera!
