My dearest Hannah Grace,
In October, you turned 18 months old. The past 2 years have been the scariest yet most amazing years of my life. You have taught me more about myself in this short time than I could have ever imagined. It’s hard to believe that 2 years ago at this time, I was anxiously awaiting an ultrasound that would let us know whether you were a little boy or a little girl. I knew all along you were my sweet baby girl though…
In the past 6 months, you have grown leaps and bounds. You’re trying to talk, are obsessed with turtles and love to read. We read your favorite book, The Going To Bed Book, every night. Sometimes we read it several times. I usually have a lot of work to do after you go to bed, but I enjoy every moment reading to you and always love when you say “again.” I know these nights won’t last forever, so I’m taking them when I can.
For Halloween this year, I dressed you up as a giraffe. Everyone thought you looked pretty cute, including yourself. You twirled in the mirror and patted your tutu. You’re such a sweet girl!
Even though you are growing up WAY too fast, I love watching you learn and discover this great big world around you! I love you, my Gracie girl.
