There’s no better compliment I can receive as a photographer than to have someone choose me to help document their life. I’ve been photographing Jessica and her family for a few years now. They were some of my very first clients and have stuck with me through the years. I’ve photographed surprise family sessions for Jessica, her med school graduation photos, a pregnancy announcement, maternity photos and I will be photographing her lifestyle newborn session in just a few short weeks when Jenna arrives. Thank you Jessica for choosing me to help document your life. It is the best compliment I could ever receive!
Enough of that mushy stuff! When Jessica commented me about doing her maternity session, I knew I wanted to do something totally different and unique from my usual maternity stuff at our local park. We first started with some lifestyle shots in Jenna’s nursery and then ventured outdoors for some spring shots! It’s spring here in WV and the tree’s were starting to bloom UNTIL it decided to SNOW last week. Yes, that’s right people. Snow, mid-April, West Virginia. I could’ve died when I saw those flakes coming down from the sky and ruining my beautiful blossoming trees! To make a long story short, I looked everywhere for a new location Wednesday and sent Jessica lot’s of pictures of potential spots. We found an absolutely beautiful location right in the middle of town! This shoot is one of my favorite’s to date and I couldn’t have had a more beautiful momma! Make sure to stay tuned to the blog as I’m sure I’ll be posting previews from Baby Jenna’s lifestyle newborn session here as well.
