I actually photographed Jon’s sister Erin for her senior session a few years ago (see her session here) and fell in love with their family. Such kind people! Jon’s mom asked me last year about doing Jon’s senior photos and then I had a baby, then football season, then basketball season, then FINALLY we got to do his senior session! The night of his senior session it started raining as soon as we pulled in to park and didn’t stop the entire session. Every now and then we would go from a heavy downpour to just sprinkling and we decided to go for it. Jon and his girlfriend Brooklynn wanted some photos in their caps and gowns together and just as we started those, it started to POUR. I’m talking raining cats and dogs and we were in the middle of a field a pretty good distance away from our vehicles. We decided to take cover under some thick trees. Well it started to rain even harder, just our luck! Jon and Brooklynn asked if they could just take some photos in the rain and I said um, OF COURSE! The results were absolutely magical. We had so much fun and it is a memory they will never forget.

Jon will be attending Marshall University and plans on majoring in exercise science. He was on the football and basketball teams and was also a member of the National Honor Society. Jon will graduate 3rd in his class! Congratulations Jon!
